A Familiar Trend

So I'm Adrian, but I prefer toodlekittens. I'm 21 years old, and I'm a Chemistry Major at your local community college. I like hard liquor(Jack Daniel's all the way beeeeyotch) but there are some okay beers out there. I enjoy Indian cuisine like you wouldn't believe and like most people I am completely obsessed with cookies, and pies. (and those cookie pies are to die for if you don't know what I'm talking about then get bent.) As for videogames I like pretty much anything though I haven't really found the RTS that tickles my fancy and I would play a sandbox over any type pretty much any day of the week.

I am also a pretty proud PS3 owner don't get me wrong the Box is okay just I hate the controllers, also I am madly in love with anything MGS so that's why. I am sucker for pre-order bonuses and I will jump at any chance to buy new releases, though if the bonus sucks I may just opt to buy it at a later date. I'm not the hugest fan of GameStop but the choices out there really suck I mean I've got Wal*Mart, Amazon, or Best Buy really for videogames so I rather go to GameStop. Other than that there isn't much to tell that you won't find out for yourselves so lets give it up for Darth_Marth and killinglights for joining me in this ridiculous endeavor.

Introduction (con't.)

Hey guys, my name is Matthew, and as toodlekittens stated, we are all avid gamers here. I am a fan of good videogames, but I have a tendency towards fps and rpg games. I will give any genre a shot if I am told it’s awesome. Some of my favorite games include Call of Duty: Black Ops (haters gonna hate) and Fallout 3. I don’t care what anybody says, I fully believe that Black Ops is a good game. Yes, it has flaws, but I’d like to see somebody legitimately prove me wrong about it being a great game (and no, the lack of quickscoping is not a flaw, it’s actually probably my favorite thing. It just means snipers actually snipe. I’d like to see you actually quickscope in real life you trolling douches.) However, I have many others that I would like to get, and plenty that I still have to beat. I will admit that I have yet to one hundred percent a game (with all of the achievements), but I have beaten a good amount of them. I am the proud owner of an Xbox 360 and good number of games. I am also an avid Pokémon nerd (haters gonna hate).

I am a huge fan of sports, probably not as big of a fan as Darth Marth, but it’s okay. I feel that most people aren’t as big of a fan as he is. I just wish that I was better at them so playing them would be more enjoyable (hah). But I love soccer, football and hockey most of all. I don’t mind watching basketball. Hell, even the occasional tennis match is interesting.

But I am a double major at Western Michigan University, double majoring in Cello Performance and Music Therapy. It’s so much work, but one hundred percent worth it. I love being able to relax at the end of a long day with some videogames.

A Little About Myself

Hi All,

My name is Peter Heyboer and I'm a "gamer." (hiiiiiiiii Peter....)

I am 21 years old and I am currently a senior at THE Ferris State University pursuing a BS in Forensic Biology. (ooooohhhhh, aaahhhhhh)

Anyways in addition to videogames i am also an Ultimate Frisbee/general sports addict (in college?! nooooooo) and i really enjoy many fine beers and other alcohols. (no cheap shit!)

So down to the good parts, I have played a myriad of games and game styles and I can say without a doubt that I enjoy fantasy RPG's, FPS's, Sports and other genres that I’m too lazy to think of. However I am not able to say that I am an RTS fan. I grew up feasting upon N64 games and they're still some of my favorites. Also i got in on the Gameboy phases having owned pretty much all of the different kinds. (I'm proud to say I have the original DS.) I thoroughly enjoyed old school Pokémon but anything past Silver is pointless to me.

Onto my favorite games and game series, I'll start with Halo and Call of Duty of course. Golden Sun series is up there along with Legend of Zelda. Mario games are on there, mostly being the original Mario Bros and Mario 64. I really love all the James Bond games. Racing games definitely Mario Kart and Diddy Kong. Need for Speed Underground 2 is about it for me. Fighting games aren't really my cup of tea but i hold my own in the Smash Bros. series and decently in Soul Caliber 2. I'm a diehard fan of The Elder Scrolls series. Just about anything from Black Isle (R.I.P.) and Bioware like all the Baldur's Gate's, Icewind Dale's, KotOR's. I think that’s about it if I missed anything I'll throw it in.

The current game I'm involved in is Dragon Age: Origins on the pc. I really love this game and all of the extra stuff that comes with it on the pc. I truly enjoy the options and Bioware games like this. I also like to play massive games like this on the pc for not only the extra stuff but user created mods. In fact I'm going to mod my Fallout 3 here soon and play that again. I think thats all for me for now. Take care!!

It's an Honor

We three are avid gamers, myself TOODLEKITTENS, DARTH MARTH, and KILLINGLIGHTS all have the same passion and that is gaming. And not just random online indie games or the occasional Call of Duty fest but hardcore balls-to-the-wall playing the good games. And hating how the industry is messed up in many ways and can do so few things well.

This is a place for men (although chick gamers are cool too) that don't judge simply based on looks or through the grapevine opinions, but rather men who are willing to pick up a controller and then pass a verdict. If you're some sort of obtuse trolling douche you're not going to find much to like here since we hate you. I guess that's all I can say, other than if you enjoy games please enjoy yourself here.
